Rick McCollum has been on staff with Spring Valley Baptist since 1995.  After many years as Minister of Music and Worship, Rick will serve as Minister of Congregational Care, with responsibilities in assimilation, care, and Senior Adults, including the Valley Voices senior choir, starting August 9.

Rick has a Doctor of Ministry degree from Northern Baptist Theological Seminary, a Master of Religious Education from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, a Master of Music from Louisiana Baptist University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from the University of South Carolina.

His passion in ministry is to activate and mobilize individuals for ministry.  Rick enjoys spending time with his wife Christi, working in his home studio, and eating ice cream.
