Our Mission Partners
Spring Valley Baptist Church aims to love our neighbors and make disciples across our city, our state, our nation, and the world. Our model is Acts 1:8: starting locally (“Jerusalem”), moving regionally (“Judea”), crossing state lines (“Samaria”), and reaching “the ends of the earth.” In every sphere, we cooperate with faithful groups who share our aim to meet real needs (the Great Commandment) and share the Gospel of Jesus (the Great Commission).

We invite each person at Spring Valley Baptist to pray, give, and go. We pray by asking the Lord to open doors, raise up workers, and save people by His grace. We give to fuel the work through the generous, sacrificial support of our mission partners, the Cooperative Program, and our annual mission offerings. We go by taking a step to join a local project, a regional outreach, a short-term trip, or by having a conversation with our Pastor about exploring a longer-term call. Spring Valley Baptist’s prayer is that God would deepen our compassion, widen our vision, and send us out in the power of the Holy Spirit.

Columbia Metro Baptist Association (CMBA)
The Columbia Metro Baptist Association is a family of local Baptist churches working together to advance the Great Commission across the Midlands of South Carolina, equipping and supporting one another to reach their communities with the Gospel. (Jerusalem)

South Carolina Baptist Convention (SCBaptist)
The South Carolina Baptist Convention is a statewide network of churches, associations, and ministry partners cooperating to advance the Great Commission, strengthening one another to share the Gospel throughout South Carolina and beyond. (Judea)

North American Mission Board (NAMB)
The North American Mission Board is a mission-focused organization serving churches by helping them take the Gospel to communities across North America, equipping and sending leaders to reach people with the hope of Christ. (Samaria)

International Mission Board (IMB)
The International Mission Board is a global missions organization dedicated to advancing the Great Commission among the nations by sending missionaries to proclaim the Gospel and address spiritual lostness worldwide. (Ends of the Earth)

Christian Assistance Bridge (CAB)
Christian Assistance Bridge is a local ministry serving individuals and families in crisis, providing essential support such as food, financial assistance, and basic necessities while working to bring stability and hope in times of need. (Jerusalem)

Connie Maxwell Children’s Ministries
Connie Maxwell Children’s Ministries is a faith-based organization caring for children and families in need, providing safe homes, resources, and support to help them experience healing, stability, and long-term flourishing. (Judea)

South Carolina Baptist Disaster Relief
South Carolina Baptist Disaster Relief is a volunteer-driven ministry that partners with churches to bring help, hope, and healing in the aftermath of disasters, meeting practical needs and sharing the love of Christ in times of crisis. (Samaria)

Send Relief
Send Relief is a global compassion ministry that partners with churches to meet physical needs and share the Gospel, responding to crises, strengthening communities, and caring for vulnerable people worldwide. (Ends of the Earth)

Good News Vietnamese Church (Columbia, SC)
