WORSHIP OPTIONS
Spring Valley Baptist Church provides worship options at 9:00 and 11:00 every Sunday morning. These two worship options are traditional worship at 9:00 and praise worship at 11:00. Both are located in our 680-seat Worship Center. Listed below are a few of the features of each of these worship options.
TRADITIONAL WORSHIP
Led by our Worship Choir, the music is accompanied by organ, piano and Worship Bells, our adult hand bell choir. We feature ensembles such as a ladies’ sextet called Ladies Rejoice and a men’s double quartet called God’s Men. The attire by the platform leaders is formal. We observe Lent and Advent emphases in the Christian calendar and include the use of candles. Beautiful still visual backgrounds are provided on the screen during congregational singing. Congregational singing is primarily from the Baptist Hymnal. We receive an offering and biblical preaching is provided. An invitation to respond to the preaching and the worship experience is offered. Length of the traditional worship is 50 minutes.
PRAISE WORSHIP
Led by our Praise Choir, Praise Teams and Praise Combo, the music is accompanied by Praise Orchestra and Praise Band. The attire by the platform leaders is casual. Each worship event begins with a modern video presentation from the Psalms. Stimulating video presentations are provided as backgrounds on the screen during congregational singing. Background music weaves together the transitions of the praise worship. Congregational singing is primarily from Songs for Praise and Worship series by Word Music. We receive an offering and biblical preaching is provided. An invitation to respond to the preaching and the worship experience is offered. Length of the praise worship is 60 minutes.
