Looking for ways to reach out and show generosity? Here are some of the ways Life Groups and others in our church are reaching out to support and encourage others. If you are interested in how we are partnering with these organizations, please contact the church office at 803-736-0624 so that we can connect you with the groups we have working with each outreach area.


Christian Assistance Bridge (CAB) reaches out to those who find themselves in a crisis—facing eviction, utility cut-off, homelessness, or food and necessities shortages. Current needs for CAB are frequently shared on their Facebook page. We have CAB carts located throughout the building to collect food donations.

Daybreak Pregnancy Center: This center exists to walk alongside women & families facing unplanned pregnancies in the COLA area. All of their services are free and 100% confidential.

Naomi’s Circle: Naomi's Circle is a gathering place for parents of babies in heaven and for professionals, friends, and family who want to know how to help them. They hold monthly meetings on the first Thursday of each month on our campus.

Richland Two International Teacher Outreach: Ministering to the international teachers that come to Richland District Two to teach from countries around the world.

SVBC Preschool: We reach out to and minister to the teachers and families that attend our preschool.

Camp Kemo: CAMP KEMO is designed to provide a medically safe, fun environment for families and young patients navigating childhood cancer and blood disorders.

Meals on Wheels: Meals on Wheels provides home-delivered meals to elderly, frail, and homebound residents in Richland County, South Carolina. Meals are delivered at lunchtime five days a week by caring volunteers.

Mommy to Mommy Outreach: Mommy To Mommy is an outreach arm of Naomi's Circle. Through the contributions and volunteer efforts of others, we are able to bless newly bereaved parents in the greater Columbia, SC, area with a care package specially designed for their situation:

International Friendship Ministries: IFM is a private Christian organization that seeks to demonstrate the love of Jesus Christ to international students through sincere friendship, hospitality and service.

The Gideons International: Exists as an advocate for the lost, to bring them the saving knowledge of the Word through not only placing and distributing Scriptures but also through personal witnessing and by associating together for service.

South Carolina Baptist Disaster Relief: Baptist Disaster Relief strives to bring help, hope, and healing after a crisis. With 12 different ways to serve, there’s a place for everyone and every church.

Good News Club: We host an after-school club for children in a local elementary school

Samaritan’s Purse Shoe Box Collection: each year we collect shoe boxes filled with gifts and the Good News to send to children around the world.

Beth Shiloh Messianic Jewish Congregation: This Messianic Jewish congregation meets at Spring Valley Baptist weekly.

Toby’s Place: Toby's Place, named in memory of Toby Cassels, is our center for Women & Children who are without a stable home due to numerous factors, including but not limited to substance abuse, and/or economic deficiency. Toby's Place shares the gospel of Jesus Christ with women and children as well as offering programs & counseling to help them achieve transformation and break the cycle of generational homelessness.

Senior Resource Center: Caring for Columbia’s senior population. Together with our volunteers, we provide necessary services and care for seniors who cannot afford to pay for private services. Our goal is to support Midlands seniors who wish to remain in their home.
