Classes for Adults

The Way 60+ Men's Class (S106)
A class for men only. This Masterwork Bible Study will emphasize living a godly life in Christ.

Prayer and Praise 60+ Ladies Class (S102)
Ladies enjoy growing in the knowledge of Scripture and the love of Christ as they share and care for each other.

Ladies Class 30+ (Phil's Office)
Ladies of all ages desire to mature in their Christian walk and concentrate on learning God's Word and knowing Christ more intimately.

Senior Coed 70+ (S101)
Active retirees enjoy a Bible study entitled Explore the Bible that emphasizes prayer, caring and fellowship.

BYKOTA-Be Ye Kind One To Another 60-70 (S110)
Married adults study God's Word using a topical approach to the Bible.  It challenges growth in your spiritual life by applying godly principles daily.

Fellowship Class 55-65 (S111)
A class of married adults 55+ focusing on teaching God's Word, caring and fellowship. Explore the Bible curriculum is used to study the Bible book by book.

Blooming Boomers 50-59 (S104)
Adults who desire to demonstrate their faith in their homes and community as God leads, equips and empowers.  This class uses Masterwork, a curriculum designed for adults who prefer deeper spiritual insight and daily personal study.

Prayer Warriors All Ages (S114)
Married, single again, or never married adults seek to grow closer to each other as they grow closer to God.  Through prayer, Bible study and fellowship, they will explore the Bible together to learn the principles God has for each of them.

Sacrificing Years 45-55 (S105)
Life Truths study will offer relevant topics to help adults learn godly values while encouraging Christ-like living.  Adults will learn how to balance life with children, the workplace, and aging parents.

Faith in Action All Ages (S108/109)
Married adults of all ages will focus on serving others while engaging in bible study and fellowship.  Emphasis is placed on Christians in action (living the Christian life) and building and growing Christian relationships.

Families following Christ 30-40 (S116)
Young adults with children engage in study to strengthen their relationship with God, their spouse, their children, and other couples.  Topical and scriptural studies focus on helping members grow spiritually, emotionally and relationally.

Couples Connection 20-30 (S107)
Engaged? Soon to be married? Newly married? The Couples Connection class teaches how to build a solid, biblical foundation for marriage. Currently discussion includes The Five Love Languages by Dr. Gary Chapman.

Young Singles/Professionals College-28 (S112)
College students and young singles/professionals focus on learning how to deepen their relationship with God and how to live the victorious Christian life in college and the workplace.

Single Parents All Ages (S113)
Single parents will learn how to balance a job, raising children and teenagers, while trying to maintain their personal lives.  Studies such as Contagious Community, Living Beyond Yourself, and Vital Pursuits will encourage single adults in their walk with God and each other.

Classes for Children and Students

Student Ministry (Fellowship Hall)
Energy abounds in Spring Valley's Middle School and High School Student Ministry. Our Students find encouragement and support to equip them with the knowledge and understanding of Christ in their daily activities. Students will meet together in the Fellowship Hall for worship, innovative lessons, videos and teaching time, followed by small group sessions where application of the lesson will be discussed.

Kingdom Kids 1st-5th grade
Sunday morning at Spring Valley offers a fun, caring atmosphere where children learn of God's love in an ever changing world.  Each child will be taught at the appropriate age level while engaging in interactive activities.

Preschoolers with a Purpose Birth-5yrs
Preschoolers will have a committed leader to guide them in the learning process where God's Word comes alive through active play, Bible stories and crafts.

Extended Teaching Time 9:00 and 11:00 AM
While parents are involved in worship, preschoolers will continue to enjoy a structured program of learning about God.
